(1) how can plants be prepared so that they last longer while being shipped?(2) Everybody is talking these days as though when they get some kind of hair algae, it is their fault. They blame it on a nutrient imbalance that allowed it to happen. To me, this sounds about as believable as their believing they didn't propitiate the Gods properly, and that they will have to make some animal sacrifices to make the Gods happy again. Is there any real basis for thinking that there is a nutrient balance that will inhibit hair algae? I will not believe it until I see experimental results!
I am sure there are a lot of other topics where people will want experiments. The problem will be getting people to do the experiments. I hope we can find some. I can help in the experimental design.
Hi Paul, I had actually prosed your Experiment Topic with you as a moderator when we were introducing the first wave of Forum topics. This was several weeks after you had first proposed the idea. Since you are on this MCM list I had assumed that you were aware of this. Perhaps it was left off since we never heard you confirm that you wanted to do this once we started to actually get the forum going. I actually figured that you had gotten busy with other things and just did not have time to do it. I am glad to hear that is not the case. Anyways, the Forum is a work in progress and I am still all for an Experiment Topic moderated by you. Regards, Larry
