Why don't we lower the price on them before we start giving them away? Let's cut the price, say, in half to $3 each, and if they don't move at that price, go to $2 or $1.50 inthe spring. Actually, I don't mind handing them out at shows and conventions, but I'd like to try to minimize our loss on them. Infact, at a redcued price, they might even present incremental revenue in 2006. If they don't, then I think that means the market really really really is maxed out -- but I don't what to think about that now Also, if we give any away, let's be sure each one given has a sticker on it asying AGA. Do we have stickers with AGA on them? sh * * * * * * * * * * * The 6th Annual AGA Aquascaping Contest entries are on display: http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org As a service to the community the AGA has opened forums: http://forum.aquatic-gardeners.org/ ----- Original Message ---- From: Cheryl Rogers <cheryl@rightstuffwebsites.com> To: AGA Advisory Committee <aga-mcm@thekrib.com> Sent: Friday, January 13, 2006 12:45:14 PM Subject: [AGA-mcm] PAM excavation We need to get rid of PAMs. They aren't getting any younger and we have tons left. Ideas: -Find aquarium conventions to give them to. -FREE! One PAM with each new or renewed membership! -FREE! One PAM with each Book order! -Does Lee Finley want any? -How about Ray Lucas? -Give some to aquabotanic, gregwatson, etc, as free inserts for their orders. -Else?
