I've emailed him an appology note ... a download link ... and 
information on
how to contact me ...

PayPal requires you to click on a "Return To Merchant" link after someone
finishes paying ... a few people never click on that link and thus don't
come back to the site where they can download the book immediately ...

The website also emails everyone a download link ... so those few people 
who
never quite finish an order by returning to the website to download the
eBook have a second chance to download it from the email message download
link ...

That takes care of 99.9% of those who "oops, I never quite finished the
order" ...

However, there are a few who miss that download email message (they may
delete it or it might be filtered into a junk mail folder, either way, I
can't blame them given the amount of spam most of us receive) ...

So hopefully Richard will accept the appology and understand the 
explanation
... if he gives us any grief, I will just refund the money ...

The only downside of having payments go directly to someone other than
myself is that if they send you an email message it is harder for me to
quickly handle and a pain in the butt that you shouldn't have to deal with
<grin> ... however, overall, I think the benefits of getting money directly
into the hands of aquatic organizations outweighs the few problems ...
