Hi Justin,

Unfortunately, it is impossible to say exactly what will be in the auction,
because many people will not register their auction items until they arrive
at the convention.  I think the way I'd handle this is to just make a "wish
list" for your pytosanitary certificate.  Add everything to the list that
you have the slightest interest in, and hope for the best.  If they'll let
you do it, stick to the genus level, i.e. "Hygrophila sp." to cover your
bets even better.

It would be neat to be able to know exactly what people will bring before
hand, but it's just not feasible.  I know that when I get ready for an
auction, I just weed through my tanks.  I probably don't KNOW what I'll be
bringing until I stick my hand in the tank the morning I leave for the
conference!  (although unfortunately, for this year's convention I won't be
able to bring anything... since I'm arriving in Dallas on Monday, I think no
one would want to bid on things that remained in the bags until the
following Sunday!<g>)
