Additionally, and paraphrasing Kasselmann, the flowers will rarely
open underwater, but will produce seeds. Eventually the fruit will
rot away and release the seed. Let it germinate under good light.

hi
I have a barclaya longifolia with flower head(not yet opened)can you
help with propagation advise as these are not common in this part of
the world(New Zealand)also does anyone know of any south African
aquarium equipment suppliers as I'm heading over there shortly for a
holiday and am looking for filters etc(240 volt 50 hz is our power
supply so cant buy from U.S)
