T5s are nice bulbs -- Basically Power Compacts that haven't
been bent in two. But there must be some care in switching
around what fluorescent bulbs and ballasts. As a rule you
can run them T5 sn PCs o the same ballasts that are rated
for comparable wattage, give or take a coupe wtts. What
bulb was originally in your hood?
