My wife and I were in China 2 years ago...Xiang, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong
Kong and several other major cities you do not list. Hong Kong and Xiang
had a large district with many aquarium shops of every description all
within the same area. I did not get to the other cities aquarium shop
districts but was told that they all had many shops which tend to be
concentrated in a small area. You will be overwhelmed with the
availability of plants and varieties of fish. A number of shops had very
nice planted aquariums on display. I don't remember the names of the
areas with the shops but you will be able to find them as I did by
asking the hotel concierges. If this is your first trip to China you
will have an unforgettable experience.
