Free PAM (fwd)

Hi there guys,

Back from vacation. Here's something from Dave. From a technical
standpoint, we could do this, but from the political standpoint, I think
it should NOT involve Mary. Any opinions?

Subject: Free PAM

I would like to send a free issue of PAM to each AGA member who is not
already a subscriber.

I am trying to figure out how to make this easy for you, Mary, etc.

What would be easiest for me is if you could split your next TAG mailing
into 2 parts: PAM subscribers and foreign (I would give you the PAM list)
who would get TAG only, others who would get TAG+PAM.

But I suspect that could be a lot of work for Mary. Another idea is to
send Mary a pile of PAMs in envelopes needing only address labels and the
PAM subscriber list. Then she could toss out the labels for foreign and
PAM subscribers and affix the rest. But that is still a lot of work for her.

Another idea is that I could do the scut work. The "down" side of that is
that AGA would need to send me the labels, which if I were desperate I
would rekey so I could mail them myself. Trust me, I am not that
desperate. I would mail the stuff locally.

Do you think any of these ideas could get approved, or should we just
forget it? I hate to see a lost opportunity on both sides.
