This one is bizzarre -- the list program rejected the mail because David
used a 9-letter word beginning with "S" that means "to sign up for a
magazine or periodical" and also happens to be used as a command to join
this list.  I have made the appropriate substitution in his message below,
so it doesn't come back to me.

Perhaps we could put a form in a TAG issue that the member could send to
PAM to join. Anything else is going to get very messy -- I fear.
