Hi All --
1) Incorporation -- I'm meeting with our lawyer
Friday night, and he thought he could do the deed pretty quickly. Thanks to Erik
for providing the historical documents from a year or so ago.
2) "Operating Budget" -- AGA has been in the
enviable position over the past years of building up our treasury on a
consistent basis. CY 2000 is the best complete data that I have, and here are
the results (operating results for AGA, not including the Convention or the
Contest).
Inflow -- from memberships, books and back issue
sales we took in $11,353. In addition we earned $1,500 in misc income and on our
money in the bank for a total inflow of $12,853.
Outflow -- we spent $12,308, of which $8,300 was
for TAG.
It seems pretty clear to me that if we upped the
membership to $20 per year we could pay PAM $15 a year for him to handle the
magazine, and if all we had to do was put in our time and a little money we
should be fine.

me know.
