Hi Dorothy,

Charlene's last report a couple weeks ago said things are going well, and
Amano is still on board & she's getting daily inquiries from prospective
attendees, but also hinted that the number of people registered was lower
than she was hoping.  I don't completely know what that means in terms of
real numbers.  I continue to get reports about prize donors, also lower
than I would have expected.

The contest closed on Monday with 61 entrants, more than I was expecting.
So maybe more people will sign up for the convention at the last minute
than we are expecting.

PS: I was hoping to have a proposal written up for this PAM subscription
thing, but have been ridiculously busy with contest & other commitments
the last few weeks.  Add to that Kathy and I are leaving in a week for
vaction 3 of 4.  Oh boy.
