Arthur speaks some Japanese, and was the one travelling with the two Senske brothers. I think that at heart he's basically a good guy, but he does come off as a very young Dave Gomberg at times. Very energetic and naive -- I could be wrong, but I get the impression he hasn't been doing this for that long. He's the one who made the comment that TAG or PAM should be devoted entirely to the art of aquascaping and that anyone who didn't understand how to do the technical parts needed to get a life and stop wasting valuable publishing space on how to do CO2. Or something like that. Arthur is helping with the convention organization this year. He's apparently been reprimanded by someone higher up for posting a request for speakers on the APD (I don't know why... it was the first I had even heard that we were HAVING the convention in Houston, and I think asking general folks is a great idea). Anyway, it might be worthwhile to find out what his intentions are in this... I think Arthur is one of those folks who could be very valuable to AGA's future both now and as he grows...or a major pain if treated as such right now. - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe aga-sc" in the body of the message.
