RE: convention guidelines/history (fwd)

Just to let you folks know what's going on... since David didn't reply
saying he'd contacted Darlene, I took it upon myself to contact Scott
Heiber, who'd offered to help draft a bid guideline, and then Darlene
herself (her e-mail was in the conference list). I think it is very
important to keep up these e-mail contacts on a regular basis.  Any rate,
here is what Darlene wrote back to me:

HI Erik,

That crazy woman has been out of town on two trips since the conference but
we will have a lunch date Wednesday to review info. Thanks for the reference
data. I was able to copy and paste the ACA files but couldn't print any of
it out directly at my home computer so I'll be taking the images/ zip files
to the aquarium to see if I can do better there.
Charlene and I will start a draft and pass it around for review, amendments,
etc.
