Hi All, Obviously it would be ideal if we could move the convention around the country so that more people would have the chance to attend in their local areas. OTOH, a willing crew of workers is essential to the success of a convention, and sometimes that need will overide considerations of location. We had the convention twice in a row in Chattanooga for that reason. Dallas and Houston are in the same state, but it's a pretty big state! We're not even talking about the same city. While I agree, we should get the bid sheets done, and as for bids from all areas of the country if we can, I would have no objection at all if it turns out that Dallas is the best opportunity for next year!
