I don't think any of us would want to be without your input!  We just
recognize that you HAVE done your share, and it's time for others to do
theirs.  I hope you will not only remain on the management committee, but
will continue to feel free to speak up on any subject where you have an
opinion, idea or suggestion. (That includes TAG too... Hmm I think you told
me you were working on a book review at one point? ;-)

When I offered to step off to let someone else onto the BOD (and I still
think I should, so that we get two new people on, whether by election or
whatever) I wasn't saying that I would abandon ship.  In my case, as current
editor of the magazine, I still have to be pretty fully "in the loop" .
OTOH, as I'm sure you know, I am busy enough with that work that I don't
have a whole lot of time to work on other projects that also need to get
done.  We need more workers.
