I don't think this has ever been primarily a matter of money.  She's got a
horse, so I think she can afford it. (or maybe not BECAUSE she's got a
horse<g>)  But seriously, I think it was a matter of priciple.  I don't
agree with her, but I do believe that she did truly feel that these
conferences were spending too much money on too few members.  I think now
that she can see that they AREN'T taking money away from the general
membership, she's starting to come around.
