> Depends how you look at it. Labels were generated March 4, May 8, and > July 25. That's advancement to me. :) That's only because the mailing list (thanks to you and Cheryl) is in better shape, so that labels have been printed a little earlier so that they are ready at the same time the magazines are. Also, the issue that went out in March was actually slated to go out 2/24. The May one was slated to go out 5/12, and instaed actually hit the mail 5/16, so very close to our "pushed back" date. The August one was WAY late again... projected date 8/4, actually went out 8/18. (that one was not due to internal problems, but due to machine failure at the printer) The August issue was SUPPOSED to bring us to our final target mailing date of the first Monday in the second month of the cycle. We're shooting for Nov. 3 for the last one. This is where the target dates will stay, for the exact reason that, even with slippage due to unforeseen problems, we still have a good chance of getting it in the mail by the middle of the cycle. All in all, we only gained about 3 weeks with this move-back, over the course of the year. (first proposed mailing date was 2/24, last proposed mailing date is 11/4) All issues still falling within the same calendar year as originally scheduled. > Perhaps it's good I have some selective amnesia about some of this stuff. > Maybe I was too distracted with Dave and Mary at the time. Yes, Diana's refusal to come out and play seems very insignificant compared to those.<g> The thing about Diana is that even when she has disagreed with a course of action, she has alwalys remained supportive to the AGA as a whole, and continued to do her part.
