I think it would make a big diff if someone could say about
how many hours week or month would be involved. Otherwise,
it's like asking someone to sign a check, we'll fill the
amount in as we need to spend it.  That probably frightens
more folks than actually hearing an estimate.

As I recall, Karen got me involved this way, saying it
would only be a hour or two per year  -- just kidding,
Karen.

Someone could right crawler to find all the references and
check for accuracy,no?  Not me, but someone who knew this
stuff?
