There is a small percentage of folks who cannot use PayPal -- not just "don't want to", but "can't". Paypal doesn't take payments from some countries. Perhaps as an alternative, we might try to seek out a credit card account that has similar fees to PayPal but which we could use online AND for regular transactions.
