Yes, just this afternoon.  One minute it was there, the next gone.

I'm usually VERY careful about backing things up.  I don't know how this 
slipped past me.  Well, yes I do, but there's no excuse.  Dave thinks it's a 
power supply problem, and that the hard drive itself is probably OK.  I just 
hope he's right.  The guy who built it for us is picking it up in the morning.
