Okay, Kids,

I trust you all had a fun Holiday this week, met family and
friends, emptied bank accounts, made Mastercard and Visa
giddy with childlike delight, and now are wondering what
that tree is going to do to your fire insurance rates if
you leave it up past New Year's. But, now it's time to get
to work before New Year's Eve races up to you like an old
acquaintance in need of a loan. The Board asked GWAPA to
send additional info before it considered contacting Amano
about participating in AGA2K4. You asked for it; now enjoy
the satisfaction of your desires (it's important to keep up
the passion about these things, don't you think?).

The attached *draft* proposal is sent by GWAPA in response
to your request; it is not the final proposal, which is not
due until Jan 4th. Note that, among other things, they are
still working on final hotel costs and will incorporate
those and address any comments suggested by the Board in
the final proposal.

I know that GWAPA put in a lot of time over the holiday to
get this together for you -- meetings, spreadsheets, phone
calls, more spreadsheets, etc. Don't feel guilty -- but be
sure to consider the document as soon as you can and not
wait until January 4th -- they'd think we were just kidding
them about the draft. ;-)
