I use pine, which is text-only and if you open attachments it just saves 
them.  Never had a worm yet.  

The sheer stupidity of the people who are hit by this one absolutely
amazes me.  In many cases you actually have to OPEN a zip file and CLICK
on the file inside it ("message.htm                            .exe").
