I was thinking that, if we are going to have an officidal moderator, shouldn't we make it clear that the moderator will not be editing or censoring messages? The way it's been described for Cynthia seemed like a good way to put it although I can't remember the wording right now. I'm thinking only of how it relates to the libel issues whether the list operator controls the content or not. Wouldn't necessarily prevent a suit but might affect the liability and outcome.
