what our local club is doing. Interesting that the board does NOT need insurance. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sat, 10 Apr 2004 13:44:32 -0700 From: Bob and Judy Holmes <jbholmes@nwlink.com> To: kathy@thekrib.com Subject: insurance. Hi Kathy. We'll be buying basic liability/property damage insurance for GSAS as a whole but not board insurance. Board insurance covers mainly misbehavior on the part of board members - fraud, theft etc. and is very expensive. One of the agents I talked to told me that because of its cost many organizations just "wing it". I have talked to Allstate and State Farm. Rick has talked to his agent but I don't know which company. Bob ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe aga-sc" in the body of the message.
