I'm willing, if you guys really think it's a good idea.  But lunch (or
banquet) with me doesn't sound like that big a deal.  It's not like I say
"no" to people who want to go to lunch as it is.<g>  Plus, considering the
people speaking at the convention, I might be fairly far down the list of
people they'd like to have lunch with!  Finally, it pre-supposes that the
person who is the 1000th member will also be attending the convention... not
at all a sure bet, considering the percentage of members who make it to the
convention.  Maybe we can come up with some other alternatives?

Maybe, considering that this will be a NEW member, not a renewal, a full set
of past convention videos?
