Re: [AGA SC] Insurance form



I know only about AGA2K3. A pay your own service bar was
set up at the banquet (out in the hall) last year. I
believe that the payment for that was part of the Banq room
charge.

In the Hospitality suite, I seem to recall beer being one
of the refreshments but there wasn't anything left when I
got there so I can't say for sure. SeaChem sponsored the
suite, which is to say, they paid double the fee other
vendors paid but Larry bought the beer and he or one of his
comrades brought it into the suite.

So yes, any way you look at it, we made it available, we
provided it, without cutting too many hairs too thinly, we
served it. We could decide not to provide it.

I'm not against drinking either but I'm not partial to a
group buy the stuff -- don't see why those that don't
should subsidize those that do. Even a cash bar cost money.
I'm sure there are plenty of members that would disagree
with me -- even past convention chairpersons ;-)
