[AGA-sc] Application for federal recoginition of tax-exempt status

I want to give everyone a chance to comment or question the
action before I do it.

I have completed preparation of the application to the IRS
for reconition of tax-exempt status. I have requested a
certified copy of the Articles of Organization from the
Secretary of State of Mass. This certified copy is needed
for the the application to the IRS.

When that certified copy arrives (and assuming, Erik, we
have heard back from Fred at ACA), I will be submitting the
application. Under the Federal User Fee Program, the
application cannot be processed unless we submit along with
it a $500.00 User Fee -- yes the decimal is correctly
placed 2 zeros after the five. Not five bucks; not fifty
bucks, but one half G or five Benjamins. That's the awful
price of admission, folks. If it sounds any better, in
Vegas it would only be called a nickel :-\
