Btw, Erik, Comcast High Speed Internet access here does specifically support multiple addresss (up to 5) for home (networked) computers -- They charge an extra $10/month and if you buy or rent the hub from them, they charge a small fortune for that hardware. Not that I have multiple computers but just to tag that conversation ;-)
Comcast is full of it, in the same way that Comcast is full of it when they say you can only hook up one TV. Yes, it's a little more complicated, byt you can go down to Fry's and buy a device for $50 that will do the same thing and there's not a damn thing Comcast can do about it. From their perspective, it looks like one computer. From the inside, it looks like N computers.
- ErikPS: Everyone see that AGA2k4 announcement on the APD? I corrected Ghazanfar's spelling of Diana and Dorothy's name privately. Nice of them to let us know the line-up first, isn't it? Always love getting my insider board news from the APD so I can rush to update the website.
