She was on the way out the door, but I made her stop and tump the books out 
on the nearest table. We counted them. I wrote it down. I am 99% certain 
that my numbers are accurate.

The 23 sold DOES NOT include the two given away. None of the Given Away 
columm is included in the Sold column.
