Whatever.  This is why I always keep my originals (4000x3600) around. 
Just takes a couple commands to re-image everything in my archives at 
whatever sizes I'd like.  And nowadays I don't really do "640 wide" 
anymore, but instead define the scales based on area: "307,200 square 
pixels" (viewable) or "1,920,000 square pixels" (big).

What he's saying is essentially what I'd been saying: he pre-scaled the 
images to 600 pixels-wide before uploading them to the gallery, and he's 
not going to re-upload them.  What's odd is that he could have 
pre-scaled them to 1200 px wide and uploaded them, and the gallery would 
have rescaled them down AND kept the originals.  But I guess that's the 
thinking of people who don't work with print much.
