No that's fine. You have better info than me -- imagine

Does this need a vote, Erik? If so, I second Karen's motion
that that we send $100 to the address Karen listed. If not,
then I'll just send a check.

Here's their address for mailing a check:

Mail your check, payable to "Oxfam America," to:
Oxfam America
Asia Earthquake Fund
PO Box 1211
Albert Lea, MN 56007-1211

Although I have no objections to the others either.

Sounds fine. They're rated for about 90% pass-through.

But

I think they only accept cred card payments.

World Vision, Umcor and Doctors without Borders accept
checks. For the more secularly devote of the group,

DocsW/o

Bords is not a religious organization.

It looks like Oxfam America is one of the best

If we can decide on a figure, I can send a card to

Holger

expressing our
sympathy, and telling him about the donation. How

does

$100 sound to
people? I'll add another $100 of my own.

Probalby no need to even bring this up but it won't

hurt to

say it. If we send a check, let's make sure it goes
directly from the AGA account. If done as a

reimbursement,

it might raise questions under audit about the

portion

of

AGA funds going to the Directors, which, as far as

the

IRS

is concerned is supposed be virtually none.
