I don't think talking to him is the answer. I think we should stop putting anything PAMs on the disks just to avoid the hubbub. I think our position should be that we beliveve we acquired those rights be we don't want to argue about it so we'll drop PAM from the disks -- but we're certainly not going to renegotiate. Disks aside, I think we should move the inventory of paper PAMs. They aren't selling and I don't they are gaining in value with age -- maybe a handful (literally) of people will value them as antiques in another 15 or 20 years but we can always hold back a half dozen sets to cover that. Let's offer a whole set of whatever we have to anyone that joins "for as long as the offer is made or while supplies last" -- that's on 1, 2, and 3 yr. memberships and in addition to the TAG backissues we offer on the 1-yr. special. Maybe that will nudge a few folks into joining and get the mags out into readers' homes where they should be. Personally, I think the market is underestimating the value of the magazine, but they've certainly had enough time to make up their minds. I'd like to believe we can at least give the stuff away ;-) . sh --- Kathy Olson <kathy@thekrib.com> wrote: > Hi, > > I think someone ought to talk to Dave....I think Karen > would be a great > person (kill me Karen) and just say "hey, can we include > the PAMS that are > out of stock on the ARCHIVE disk" or not. _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
