Funny how things work out. David put off the Taekwondo testing by a
week, so if TAG comes soon I should be able to do it preetty quickly.
We were trying to sneak up on the dates a little, right? So as far as
the membership is concerned, we are on schedule, not behind. Don't worry.
No, you absolutely may not resign. <shudder>
I hope things get better with Timothy. Your family comes first. That
would be true for any job. You only get one shot at raising this kid.

Hi Guys,
I am fianlly sending TAG to Cheryl today. I feel terrible that it is so
late, and feel that I owe you guys an explanation, though it can't go
any farther than this list. I know you all well enough that I know I
can trust you.
Of course you all know that Scott and I were away. When we got back, I
found that a lot of the material I needed had not arrived yet, so had to
scurry around getting people to get that to me. At the same time I was
preparing for NEC and hosting Christel. With "just" those problems I
would have been behind schedule, but not irretrievably.
Unfortunately, at the same time we've been dealing with some very severe
emotional problems with Timothy that escalatedto scary proportions
within the last couple of weeks. I don't want to get into them all
here, but suffice it to say, taht dealing with his problems has taken
most of my time and attention not to say totally drained my energy for
anything else.
I am really hoping we are close to getting things back on track, but I
did feel that I had to give you some explanation in terms of what is
going on. I've considered resigning, and if I thought (or if you all
think) that was in the best interest of the organization, I would. But
I figure that at the moment, that would just mean that Cheryl would
suddenly get everything dumped in HER lap, which sure isn't fair.
I HOPE that I can get things caught up for the next issue, but if not, I
do promise that I will do the best I can under the circumstance. If, in
the mean time, you know of someone champing at the bit for the job, I
WON'T have my feelings hurt if you want me to pass the reins on to
someone else.
Thanks,
Karen
