For me working towards 2005 has been an exercise in motivating our membership to take proactive action on behalf of sfbaaps. Our 2005 bid didn't pull together in the area of program/speakers. Members of that committee did not take action beyond having an idea. It is one thing to say "wouldn't it be nice to have the AGA convention in SF" it is something else to make that happen. This is much too big of a job for 2 or 3 people. It will die if we don't all pull together on behalf of sfbaaps and the AGA.
Whatever.On the bright side, they *do* seem to be continuing the planning and seem jazzed about 2006.
