I am probably over analyzing it but in a perfect world we would have more than 1 club trying to host an AGA. A true bid situation. Can you imagine muliplying all of the emails we have had with GWAPA and then SFBAAPS times 2 or possibly 3 clubs? I guess I am switching topics here because I totally agree with you about the Nov 1 deadline for a prelim hotel contract. I was just going off on a little tangent just trying to think of a way to streamline this part of the "preliminary" process. If we are going to make a change to the convention document maybe we could put in some more details about how the hotel bid will be graded, ie room cost, banquet cost, proximity to airport, facilities, etc. This is probably not the time to re-engineer all of this but I wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
