I just have doubts whether SF has the leadership skills to actually do more than day-late, dollar short job. Skids says that they get 40 - 50 people at each meeting. DFWAPC pulled off a heck of a convention, and a lot of different people worked. We only get about 20 per meeting. You'd think with all those people in SFBAAPS, they would have a stronger workforce. Jen Ford, a new member and friend oh Jonathan Dooley of CCAC has also expressed interest in volunteering to help with a convention. I say we start seeing other people. Cheryl S. We've been "engaged to be engaged" to SF for over a year and still no date has been set for the wedding. Potential dates have come and gone and I must admit, the "promise ring" is beginning to show some tarnish. At some point, either pappy gets out his shotgun or we start dating again. Or throw our own party and go stag. None of these are my first choice as an option, but I think thats where we are at. Maybe we should do the Farmington Marriot in 2006 and SF could consider 2007. sh ----- Original Message ---- From: Karen Randall <krandall@rdrcpa.biz> To: Aquatic Gardeners Association Board <aga-sc@thekrib.com> Sent: Saturday, January 07, 2006 8:57:07 AM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] Re: AGA While we're on this list, however, do you think we should be looking into a hotel closer to one of us as a back-up plan? _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc_______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
