Sorry it took a day to get back to you, but I needed to hear back from the BOD.  I ask you and your BOD to keep this confidential for now, as the deal is not yet finalized, and we need that to happen before an official announcement.  We are trying to conclude negotiations with a hotel for the weekend of Nov 10, 11, & 12. In the unlikely event that the negotiations do not conclude acceptably, we will need to change the hotel and possibly the date but that's our target.  We really appreciate your club trying to work around the problems we hare having.  We don't want to hold you up any longer.  At this point, we suggest that you go
ahead and set your dates assuming ours will not change. In the unlikely event that we DO need to change the date,  we will do
everything we can to avoid your dates once they are set.

 

I'm sorry I can't give you anything more definite than that, but this has been extremely frustrating for all of us.

The club that is working on hostoing is still having trouble pinning down a hotel.  The best we can tell you at this point is that they are aiming for the first or second weekend in Nov.

I know that I asked you about AGA few days ago and you mentioned that there is something on the table but you can not talk about it. That is fine !

 

At last night NJAS Board meeting we were discussing possible dates for Spring and Fall auction / fish shows and I mentioned AGA Convention. We decided to hold off on Fall Auction and find out if we have any specific dates for AGA.

 

Is there anything specific ? I know that you can not talk about it but if you can provide any type of information. At least which weekend and which month, I would really appreciate !
