Hey Y'all:

I got an advertising rate sheet from Tropical Fish Hobbyist. Because we 
are a non-profit organization, we can have color ads for black-and-white 
prices, and we can have 2005 rates. Yay.

If I wade through their complicated discount structure, I come up with 
the following prices:

1/4 page ad:
12 issues    $5602.80 or $466.90 each
6 issues    $3001.50 or $500.25 each
3 issues    $1600.08 or $533.60 each

Dimensions:
1/4 Vertical W 4.125" X H 5"
1/4 Horizontal W 8.5" X H 2.435"


1/6 page ad:
12 issues    $4347.00 or $362.25 each
6 issues    $2375.33 or $395.89 each
3 issues    $1253.64 or $417.88 each

Dimensions:
1/6 Vertical W 2.675" X H 5.065"
1/6 Horizontal W 5.6" X H 2.435"



MOTION

Based on these prices, I move that we purchase 6 months of 1/6 page ads, 
beginning with the July issue and running until the end of 2006.

This gives us a littl time to come up with some different ads and 
finalize convention details for advertising. It also takes advantage of 
the Holiday 2006 season.
