I've left Jim a message to call me specifically regarding this today.I really don't care much about how we do hospitality, so I've been staying out of it. In fact, I don't really know what to ask Jim here. This is also further wrinkled by Phil's message about hospitality room sponsorship.
I guess if I have an opinion at all, it's "let's do a private suite and buy our own booze like we always do". I can try to explain that to Jim if you like.

Speaking of which, it appears that Jim does not fully understand what we are talking about. Do you guys just want to make a decision on what we should do about the hospitality situation. I guess he was thinking that Fri would be socializing without any food and beverage or something. We could look at a cash bar for beverages in the Vendor room after whatever we decide Fri night will be. We could just pay whatever it costs for chips and stuff from the hotel. At this point I think we should just decide on something for them. Otherwise they are making the decision with our money and they have not shown yet that they should be doing that. I feel like I am holding up everything for this and I want to get the contract to Jean. Let me know your thoughts..... The text is Times New Roman and the chartsand tables are Arial --pretty standard stuff. Same logo I used last year. Btw, comments on the report, like questions, aresupposed to in writing onthe prescribed stationary. Why would we have a net loss in 2006? I can'tthink of anything we'redoing diff except the SF convention, which Iassume we will not undertakeunless we are sure we will at least break even. sh ----- Original Message ---- From: Erik Olson <erik@thekrib.com> To: Aquatic Gardeners Association Board<aga-sc@thekrib.com>Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 1:45:04 PM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] Snow Job -- or reportproduced inbetween shovelingother stuff Other than noting you're using the old logo andthe fonts look a littlefunky where you substituted new text, this isgreat news. I supposewe'll lose some money this year, which will bringthings back down.- _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc_______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc_______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
