Oh no there isn't (hope for her)! The reason she posted that Christel's book was "old" was that she first wrote and asked me how many species of aquarium plants there were. I responded saying there were more than anyone had counted, and more being discovered/developed daily.
She then asked if there was a book that listed ALL the species of aquarium plants. I said that Christel's book was by far the most comprehensive, but that even it didn't have ALL the available species in it, as it is several years old at this point. I think that's where she decided that Christel's book was "too old".
THEN she told me that none of the books she has read (including Christel's) are very useful, because they don't tell you how WIDE plants get. She asked me for Christel's e-mail address, and said she was thinking of making a DVD of aquarium plants for hobbyists. In my response, to the width-of-plant question, (and all the others she has been privately peppering me with) I suggested that she post on the forum, both so that other people could learn from her questions, and so that she could get responses from a number of experienced aquarists. (as I mentioned, she whined that nobody answers her questions)
I purposely just "forgot" to respond to her request for Christel's e-mail, since I have no intention of giving it to her anyway!<g>

Sorry, sorry. I was going to only write to Karen and then I thought others might also have Christel's e-mail address. So I changed the recipient and forgot that I had hit "Reply-To".On the forum, handimn1 is really Kim, who has been e-mailing me. She seems to live on her computer and expects that the rest of us do, too. Further, she inserts backgrounds and stuff into her e-mails which take me (I'm on dial-up) a long time to download. Ugh.Her most recent forum post was stating that Aquarium Plants was too old and wanting Christel's e-mail. As if. I told Kim that if she wanted to do better than Kasselmann, to write a book herself. She thought that was funny. So maybe there is hope for her.Cheryl S. Hieber wrote:huh? * * * * * * * * * * *November too cold? Too hot? How would you like to spend part of it in San Francisco?
