Erik,
Wow, what a way to make a person feel honoured and proud. The people in
the AGA and SFBAPS have been my guide in setting up planted aquaria and have
helped in ways they could never know.
I left the public Aquarium a few years ago and have been struggling setting
up a small aquatic plant business in the real world for a while now.
Unfortunately it is at a stage where I can only get away for short time, one
or two days at most. Thanks for the very kind offer however I must say
no.
My wife Robyn and I plan to take a trip to the US in a few years
time and I
hope to visit to the public aquaria over there at Monterey Bay and
Baltimore. I want to visit the Australian exhibit at Baltimore as I helped
John Seyjagat the Curator access Australian fish, reptiles and plants for
the exhibit.
The future trip will coincide with the Aquatic Gardeners Association
Convention where ever it is at that time.
Once again thanks for the invitation and generous offer.
Cheers
Dave
