If we want to try to capture more of the demand curve how about charging $59 for Reg for members; $69 for nonmembers and membership is not included? The FT price stays the same but is open only to those that Reg for the convention. The auction, we usually have that open to all, even those not conventin regged for a nominal fee of liek $4. We got a couple of those in Dallas. Don't know what happened in DC. sh * * * * * * * * * Come to the 2006 Aquatic Gardeners Association Convention and plan a few extra days in San Francisco enjoying the Cable cars, Lombard St., Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf . . . Another suggestion was to hold public seminars. What if we make Friday night's activities open to the public? Friday night is usually not as technical, and we're having "open mike" for a little while, and AGA state of the union stuff. Why not advertise that this portion is open to the public for FREE but you have to register and seats are limited. I don't really care if anyone from the Public even shows up, but it looks good that we offered it as a service.
