Oh gosh, me tell joke poorly.
 
Actually, I don't think I'd want to do the Early-bird discount ever again. The 
main value in doing it last year was to find out if it help numbers. It didn't; 
it just got the die-hards to sign a bit sooner than they would have otherwise 
-- the interest income would be worth maybe a dime or two at most. ;-)
 
We should have a surcharge for the late folks, just to offset the deadlines 
with the hotel and the last minute recordkeeping. Otoh, I don't want to push 
any fencesitters the wrong way off the fence. So mayb sep 30 might be better 
end date, that's still a full month to get regs before we leave town for the 
convention. ;-)

This is not necessarily a bad thing, though.  We had several people sign 
up and then back out.  So I think it'll actually be OK.  We'll reward the 
50 field trippers that guarantee us better than "$2-4k owed" zone.

Should we have a "after September 15th, add $10" charge?
