If the speaker presentation interests you, then you should pay. To sit through this stuff if it doesn't interest you, just to be next to the one you love, is true love bordering on the epic proportions of of Wesley and "The Priness Bride." If your motive for attending is the depth of affection that fables are made of, a small reg fee won't seem like much of an obstacle. ;-) As a reminder, registration is not necessary to attend or buy goods at the auction, Although, I suspect that spousal presence might crimp the bidding somewhat -- except, of course, in cases of true love, (a.k.a., to-blef). sh PS: We don't have to get hard-@ssed but it's good to know that, in the event that anyone appears to be abusing the privlege of attending any of the activities at the event, we can threaten the "ne'er-do-well" with a Martial Arts "demonstration" by CR ;-) ----- Original Message ---- From: Cheryl Rogers <cheryl@wilstream.com> To: Aquatic Gardeners Association Board <aga-sc@thekrib.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2006 8:20:20 AM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] BIG LIST: Room bouncer(s) I don't think we need to get hard-@ssed about it at the actual event, but I don't think we should tell everyone that we're not going to be the AGA Police, either. And I don't think it's as much of an issue as Jim thinks. Yeah, it comes up, but the couple of people so far have cheerfully forked over the extra dough to have their spouses sit with them. _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
