I will re-iterate my thinking. Perhaps it will make more sense condensed:
1. We netted less than $250 in combos and single sales during the 5 months
of PAM sale.
2. Most of that money came in in the first two months, when the sale was
"fresh".
3. I conclude that any decision we make now is not likely to affect the
AGA's financial status.
4. It was Cheryl's idea to have the sale to begin with.
5. Because the decision either way at this point is not likely to matter
worth squat, I would like to let Cheryl call the shot rather than argue
with her over the idea.
Now if we want to revisit how to actually get rid of the PAMs (for
instance, one of you wants part of your basement back), that's a separate
decision! Yeah, including them as freebies in SF is great! Mailing
stacks to local clubs to pass out at their functions is great! Recycling
most of them is fine. Mailing single copies free (or even at mailing
cost) to members I would consider not good. I guess that is where I am in
the minority, but I consider that there are much better uses of our time.
