BTW, for those skimming APD, Claus picked up on the APD discussion about 
substrates, tabs, and ferts and brought up the new Topica line of substrates 
and ferts. I asked a few questions that Troels is going to reply to. Anything 
new and I'll put it on APD. By the time of the convention there could be some 
interesting discussions between Tom, Troels, George Batten, etc. Accidental 
synergy.

I think the auction will be OK.  One advantage of being in SF is that that 
crowd has brought in and grows a lot of unusual stuff that is not widely 
distributed in the hobby yet.  I think that those coming from other areas 
will have a lot of neat stuff to bid on.
