[AGA-sc] FW: Bonding and Liability insurance for AGA (fwd)

Cheryl, can you drop a copy of the latest TAG to Rusty below?

Somehow this seems very familiar... like Kathy did all this a few years
ago. Maybe that was liability insurance, though.

Thanks Rusty!

Yes, Erik is the Chairman of the AGA. I'll forward your email to him and
let him and Scott Hieber, our Treasurer, handle it from here.

Thanks for your help,

Mike

Mike:

Erik Olson is involved with the organization. Correct? Let me get some
basic info and then I'll see what I can do. I need the following:

Contact person and mailing address.
State of incorporation
# of members
Copy of recent magazine or newsletter
Bond amount
Financial Statment (How much money in bank?)
Insurance coverage now? Any claims in the past?

Thanks.

Rusty

Hi Rusty,

I'm on the BOD of the Aquatic Gardener's Association, too, and I just found
out the AGA has no liability insurance and they have let bonding expire for
their treasurer. So they are now in the market for both.

Finances are about equivalent with the ALA, and amounts would be the same.
I know you helped out the ALA because you are a member, and I'm not asking
for any special deal for the AGA. Would you be able/interested in helping
them get these types of insurance? If not, I certainly understand.

Thanks,

Mike Hellweg
