If it was up to me, I'd let the prospective sponsors decide how much they want
to sponsor and I'd offer some choices -- 1st only or 2nd or 3rd or any combo of
them. While some might be interested in sponsoring more than just one prize
1st-pace prize, and if $200 seems steep, then $150 or $125 might seem more
palatable. Although I suspect that we'll be lucky to get a few to sponsor only
the 1st place cats.
I know we're too shorthanded to split hairs in practice; I just wanted to give
my reasoning.
>>>>How much did Kim send last year to do best of show? Was it $150?
Kim offered to sponsor Best of Show for $150. He elected to send the prize
directly to the winner.
Last year, all cash sponsors sent their awards directly rather than through the
AGA.
Last year's noncash prizes, afaik, are still at Phil's.
Btw and ftr, as guided by the other Bod members, I have sent in the cancelation
notice to the insurance agent that handled the "Dishonesty Bond".
