Well, technically, I'm sure that's how they report to the IRS. ;-)  It's 
actually a complex multiparty business arrangment wrapped up in a 
how-do-you-do. But the complexes are mostly between the manufacturers and Ray.

It's room and board and that list of stuff from the club in exchange for 
display of goods and the donation (from Ray or the vendors) of some of the 
goods.
Ray is the hod-do-you-do in the center of it.

I once bought a house that ended up being a three party deal and before it was 
over, I actually bought the house from someone I never met or heard of who 
owned the house for mere minutes.


Like Deep Throat said, if you want it to make sense, then you have to follow 
the money.  ;-)

I thought the manufacturers donated the goods and that was why the 
organization wasn't supposed to contact them separately.
