OK, just got off the phone with Jim. Minimum order is 72 shirts, at around $15 per shirt total (approx $1000 total). He's got 12 volunteers to work the convention so far. So let's assume we have about 30 volunteer shirts total including the AGA side of the fence. Maybe we sell 20 in addition to this at $20 per shirt, and give away a couple more. That says we'll have 10-20 left over that maybe we'll sell online. So let's say we can recoup around half the cost, leaving us with a net expense of $500 for this. Also, let's assume for the moment that the graphic is this one: http://test.thekrib.com/AGA_2006_tee_v1b.jpg with some smaller variant on the front. I'd like to have a SMALL discussion on the budgetary and morale implications of this, maybe a rough honest thumbs-up or down from everyone on this list, and then get back to Jim in a day or two. For my part, I'm thinking thumbs-up, just because I still like the idea and think it will make everyone putting in their token sweat equity feel better. - Erik PS: Passed on the scholarship info to Jim. -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
